It’s a sight to see when you step foot into the scene, the first thing you’ll see would be the mannequins dolled up in the selected clothes, and to your right would be a corner for your kids that do not want to bother or distract their mommy with their shopping, and even for your significant other to rest while you try on all the clothes until you pick the perfect outfit!
Upon entering, eyes would gleam up looking at the entire place, your eyes would automatically examine and scan through the place and you would pick a target (the clothes). Well, for me anyway. While I did so, I noticed that the colours were striking, also soft tones, and patterned.
As I walked around the place eyeing on the different clothes, I saw Fadza Anuar and Vivy Yusof, the power couple and the game-changers in entrepreneurship that are the ones behind this growing empire, FashionValet. Both busy attending to customers and being behind the cashier, it’s incredible to see with my own eyes to see how hard at work they really are.
“Should I get this, that, or both?” could be heard from other shoppers as they try on the outfits. While others can be seen eyeing you and agreeing with you that you should definitely get it.
One of the brands you can spot is Bait Al Hijaab from Brunei, where they are selling some of everyone’s favourites, the abaya, the scarves and some pieces from their recent collaboration with El Jumana. As Ramadan is coming soon, why not grab a piece or two of their abaya collection, so you can wear it to events for breaking your fast and going for prayers? They also have a variety of choices for their scarves, with lace on each sides. All of their pieces would help you make the right decisions especially in the month of Ramadan and Eid. Yay to more choices!
For the Mimpi Kita fans, their Lebaran 2018 collection is available, so be one of the first people to own it. Not only are there clothes, but you can find Naelofar’s Sajada, dUCk’s Reed Diffusers and their Scented Candles, luxurious stationeries and they even have their Carey Too Handle Bag and also The Hannah Cross Body too!
A collection for children are available, you can match your little ones in Aere Kids so they can join their mommies in their OOTD shots during Raya!
As for the gentlemen, don’t fret, because there is a collection for you too. Check out the exquisite pieces of kurta by Amar Amran, available in a number of colours to match with your family, your other half or, by your own!
Complete your outfit with a nice metallic looking bag from LVWKL, you will definitely be a showstopper! This bag brings out the colour in you, and is definitely in-trend right now.
As it was lunchtime, crowds were filling up, and people spending their lunch break to visit FashionValet’s pop-up event was delightful to see. Our team from Muslyfe managed to speak to one of the customers who has actually never been to any of FashionValet’s pop-up store throughout the years, “This is my first time attending, and I’m really happy to see local products being featured. I also feel like we came at the right time as it isn’t too crowded”. Another shopper, male, was a first timer and was impressed that there were clothes for men too, which are of good quality and has a different style.
So if you haven’t gotten the time to go to the pop-up event, you only have a few days left! Hurry and make your way to The Empire Hotel & Country Club before it ends this Sunday and get your Hari Raya clothes ready, as this event is only #TimeRayaJe!
