The series is called Muslyfe Cooks, but for this special piece, we won’t be cooking anything. Smoothie bowls do not exactly need any cooking.

These smoothie bowls are easy to make, easy on the eyes and it’s a simple and easy sweet treat. It starts with a thick blend of whole foods such as frozen fruits, and veggies, and you can get creative and include your favourites as toppings, crushed almonds, chia seeds, blueberries, you name it. Lots of flavour, colour, and texture..simply delicious!

To make these smoothie bowls, you need a blender, a chopping board, a nice and sharp knife and of course, a bowl! You can enjoy this healthy smoothie bowl for breakfast, as a snack, or even dessert! The smoothie is sweet, creamy, and smooth. It reminds me of ice cream or a sorbet, with extra goodies.

We had so much fun creating these colourful bowls, just as much as we enjoyed indulging in them. It makes a great dessert, and it’s really up to your creativity and taste!

The toppings are almost endless… Chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, blueberries, sliced bananas, hemp seeds, you name it. These are a few ideas for toppings. You can add whatever toppings you like, whether you like it simple or you could go all out making the perfect bowl to suit your taste!

1. Pretty in Pink Smoothie Bowl

What you’ll need:

  • Strawberries
  • Frozen banana
  • Red dragonfruit
  • Chia seeds

Toppings

  • Sliced bananas
  • Chia seeds
  • Kiwi
  • Almonds

Blend it all together and watch that frothy pink come together. Pour it into your bowl and add your toppings

2. Sweet & Fruity Paradise Smoothie Bowl

What you’ll need:

  • Bananas
  • Strawberries
  • Red dragonfruit
  • Blueberries
  • Chocolate chips
  • Pomegranate seeds

Toppings:

  • Sliced bananas
  • Blueberries
  • Dragonfruit
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Strawberries

3. Berry Beet Smoothie Bowl

What you’ll need:

  • Bananas
  • dragonfruit
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Beetroot

Toppings:

  • Kiwi
  • Chia seeds
  • Almonds
  • Blueberries

4. Green Tropical Smoothie Bowl

What you’ll need:

  • Spinach
  • Banana
  • Kiwi
  • Chia seeds

Toppings:

  • Strawberries
  • Almonds
  • Blueberries
  • Chia seeds
  • Pomegranate seeds
